Giedre Kazlaukaite
Giedre Kazlauskaite is a Lithuanian artist living and working in Newcastle. Having studied architecture, her work has naturally been influenced by the built environment, urban streetscape and how people live in it.
She is interested in the socio economic aspect of urban living and how people and the built environment coexist and impact each other. She is also interested in everyday living, reflecting the calm of everyday life in her work, the sense of belonging.
